The role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Administrator to join our Data, Information and Operations Team, within Careers, Employability & Student Enterprise (CESE) to cover a period of maternity leave for up to 12 months.
As the first point of contact by phone, email and in-person for students, employers and other stakeholders, your role will be as an ambassador for the service, ensuring that all customers are supported appropriately, and a professional image is conveyed at all times.
You will provide information to University of Southampton students/graduates and other customers on all aspects of the Careers, Employability and Student Enterprise offering. You may need to refer enquiries to other teams within CESE, Student Education Services or the wider University, so you will need to develop a thorough knowledge of the services on offer.
About you
You will possess excellent customer service and time management skills, have a strong attention to detail combined with outstanding organization and communication skills. A good understanding of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) and a proactive attitude are essential. You must be a team player who is confident in building strong working relationships with colleagues.
