  • One of the most important side effects in thoracic radiotherapy is currently represented by radio-induced cardiotoxicity and actinic coronary heart disease, as an important cause of morbidity and mortality in cancer survivor. The aim of the study is to prospectively evaluate the acute and chronic cardiac toxicity of thoracic radiotherapy investigated with advanced imaging techniques (Cardiac-MRI and Cardiac-CT) in patients with lung cancer.
