The Mount Royal University (MRU) Bookstore has taken on a new role as an educational resource centre to meet the requests and challenges of the campus community. The MRU Bookstore has been expanding its' line of products to enhance service and support for its customers, complimenting Mount Royal University's core purpose "to foster the success and satisfaction of students in the pursuit of their educational goals.
This position's primary focus relates to merchandising requirements as directed by the Campus Store Manager. This position will ensure the store is neat and orderly, and products are in their proper location and labeled correctly. This position works closely with the Retail Supervisor and the Inventory Control Coordinator (ICC). In addition, this position provides key customer service for daily operations of a variety of products and services offered at the Cougars Campus Store (CCS) and throughout Retail Services at Mount Royal University. Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) are expected to be engaged, connected, and understanding as they assist students, faculty, staff, and the general public with their needs as they connect with the many products and services offered at the CCS. Additional areas of responsibility include frontline operations related to the MRU campus card system, digital print, parking services, textbook information, and general sales processing through the points- of-sale systems in the CCS.
This is full-time replacement term position working 7 hours per day with a projected start date 6/1/2023 and end date 5/31/2024.
