Position Camps Night Time Supervisor (2023 Summer Employment)

Job Category Summer Job Description

The Night Time supervisor assumes responsibility for camp operations in the residence halls from 10:00 PM-8:00 AM when camps are in session (Sunday through Thursday). This individual will manage all issues that arise with our campers throughout the night. This may include coordinating contact with the Nursing staff, Security, Parents and Camp staff members. The Night time supervisor reports directly to the Fine Arts Camp Director.

Job Duties

  • Responsible each week for the supervision and safety of 9-14 students, ages 10-17, in the residence hall from 10:00 PM-8:00 AM Sunday through Thursday
  • Serve as a liaison with Security, Nursing staff and parents as necessary
  • Assist as a supervisor on field trips, and at all afternoon/evening activities, including the performing forum on Fridays.
  • Submit a nightly report of activities (Sunday-Thursday) every morning at 6:00 AM to CCE staff
  • Responsible for assisting director/instructors with three organized activities, talent shows,
  • and evening performances.
  • Assist at registration, orientation and departure
  • Serve as a role model for young adults.
  • Required attendance at a wrap-up session at the end of the program.
  • Minimum Qualifications

    College graduate with experience in working with young girls ages 10-14.

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Camp experience helpful, preferably as a supervisor
