The Media Content & Strategy Officer develops annual communications strategy and branding to ensure a leading voice with target markets across all media channels. Generates and edits content, including publications, press releases, website content, annual reports, e-newsletter, and other marketing material that communicates the organisation's activities, products, and services. Drives consistency in communication style and language across all areas of the business. Liaises with RDI departments to ensure their priorities are being supported by internal communications channels.

Responsibilities

How will you contribute?

You will work on a dynamic team and be involved in the implementation of LIST's marketing & communication strategy. You'll be mainly in charge of:

· Managing the LIST corporate branding. Works with autonomy under general supervision on press relations, internal communication, editorial (corporate & department and project communication), and digital projects

· Creating contents: writing, editing and proofreading in English and French, on various print and digital internal and external communication supports notably: the annual report, press releases, web contents, corporate contents, social media, news, ...

· Finding stories and improving editorial output

· Following the latest communication trends and proactively making proposals

· Working on the crisis communication plan

· Taking part in diverse corporate multimedia projects and productions (ppt,video)

· Giving communication advise to colleague, notably from RDI departments

· Liaising with RDI departments to find and propose editorial contents

· Managing content minor translations

· Ensures that the content complies with the appropriate policy and requirements and that the necessary checks are carried out before publication in the various communication means and media.

You hold a Master's degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism or a related discipline

At least a first professional experience in communication and/or Marketing Officer.

You also have:

  • Outstanding communication, writing and storytelling skills on different media
  • Creative and original
  • Proficient use of social media
  • Experience with CMS software
  • Proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent interpersonal and project management skills
  • Ability to adapt in a constantly evolving work environment
  • Rigorous and meticulous
  • On top of that, you have an excellent command in English and French (both spoken and written).

  • Experience in scientific communication
  • Knowledge of Luxembourg, and in particular its RDI ecosystem
  • Being an English native speaker would be an asset
  • German speakers are consider an asset
