Hong Kong Baptist University has been awarded funding under Job Creation Scheme 3.0 supported by the Government to create employment opportunities. As part of the formulation of a new University-wide Digital Experience Strategy, HKBU is expanding its IT capacity through several openings targeting fresh graduates as well as young professionals. Those openings will serve as the breeding ground for the next generation of technical/business/management professionals who will lead HKBU's Digital Transformation in the coming years.
Position Description and Responsibilities:
Business Productivity Specialist (PR0650/22-23)
is a service-oriented position involving training end users on the use of productivity software in the Microsoft Office 365 suite and the Adobe suite. Good communication skill is essential for the position. • Acquire in-depth knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office 365 suite of products; • Acquire in-depth knowledge in the use of Adobe Acrobat Sign suite of products; • Establish best practices in the use of the software products; • Prepare training strategies and materials for executives, management, and other administrative & academic users; and • Develop FAQ to address common problems.
Requirements: • A bachelor's degree, associate degree, higher diploma, diploma or equivalent qualification in information technology, computer science, marketing, management, business studies, or related disciplines; • Additional or specific qualifications may be required for specific positions (please ensure those requirements are met as well); • Hands-on experience of related software would be advantageous; • Willingness to take up challenges in unfamiliar areas; • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and • A team player willing to work harmoniously with others to achieve the team goals.
The Office may appoint candidates to positions different from what they have applied for to suit its operational needs.
The appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of one year.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
