The Department of Business Information Systems in the College of Business Administration at Central Michigan University is accepting applications for a non-tenure-track position in the area of Information Systems to commence in August 2022. Primary responsibilities include teaching graduate and undergraduate information systems courses, both online and face-to-face. Desired areas of expertise include some combination of the following: Data Analytics, Python, Database, and SAP/ERP.

Required Qualifications

A PhD, or an industry professional with a master's degree in a professional discipline and experience in information systems.

Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.

Preferred Qualifications

Teaching experience, including online teaching, and ability to work with online programs.

Experience in one or more of the following: Data Analytics, Python, Database, SAP/ERP, Project Management (PMP certification), Six Sigma (Master Black Belt certification), and SAP systems.

About the Department

Central Michigan's Department of Business Information Systems offers both undergraduate and graduate programs in Information Systems and Applied Business Communication. The department offers courses in information systems, data analytics, cybersecurity, project management, and ERP for graduate and undergraduate students. The Department also houses the highly reputable SAP University Alliance Program that prepares students for TS410 SAP certification.
