About the Roles
Both roles are full-time 12-month fixed term positions with responsibility for securing new clients for workforce development solutions. The key areas of focus will be on lead generation and conversion of workforce training sales opportunities.
You will achieve this through partnering with Government and Industry to build strong trusted partnerships that deliver meaningful outcomes. This includes developing an understanding of the prospective client's workforce development needs while working with internal teams to design solutions that maximize sales revenue opportunities and achieve agreed targets.
About You You will be an independent go-getter, who is eager to hit the ground running and join a high-achieving, collaborative, and nimble work environment.
To be successful in this position, you will have as a minimum:
Demonstrated success developing and implementing a new business sales pipeline.
A strong record in managing both key internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Demonstrated ability to engage at senior levels and deliver on agreed KPI's.
A solid understanding of industry and a demonstrated record of success delivering new business opportunities.
Effective interpersonal and negotiation skills and the ability to influence key stakeholders to successfully achieve desired outcomes.
About the Team You will join the Business Development & Partnerships team, who are responsible for driving Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Government (B2G) revenue growth at RMIT. The team focuses on generating new revenue streams, expanding business in key growth areas and strategic partnerships.
