The Molecular Disease Mechanisms group of the Department of Life Sciences and
medicine is looking for a Biological Laboratory Technician.
The recruited person should:
Participate in different projects and support them by technical assistance
(active participation in meetings, collection and analyses of data)
Respect the rules of quality assurance
Participate in experiments within the project
Participate and present obtained data in meetings
Document performed experiments in a lab book
Participate in the generation of scientific reports
Contribute to general tasks in the laboratory

What we expect from you…
Bachelor or Master Degree in Biological Sciences or related discipline
Ideally, previous professional experience as a research technician
Experience in cell culture techniques
Experience in molecular biology techniques such as real-time PCR, FACS
analysis, Western blotting, immunohistochemistry is considered an
Good communication and organizational skills
Skills in written and spoken English is required, knowledge in German or
French is an asset
Exciting contributions in the field of colorectal cancer
Very dynamic environment within a young University
Access to research laboratories and infrastructure facilities at the
Department for Life Sciences and Medicine and the Luxembourg Center for
