Description
Directs efforts of two or more bindery workers in operating equipment, operational flow and efficiency and quality control. Directs work orders through bindery section according to written instructions (job tickets). Personally operates industry-standard bindery equipment in performing virtually any binding function and trains others on proper and safe use of equipment. Organizes large volumes of work through bindery section, making adjustments to flow as necessary, to achieve maximum production. Performs or guides others in performing operator maintenance on bindery equipment to include cleaning and lubrication. Maintains proper operating level in supplies.
(Hourly Rate: $17.95 - $29.20)
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED and five (5) years of related experience required. Currently licensed with a Driver's License from the State of Alabama required.
The ideal candidate should have 7 - 10 years of bindery experience preferred.
Must be able to operate the following equipment: Cutter, Folder, Saddle stitcher
