We are seeking an experienced and strategic Compensation and Benefits Manager to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our compensation and benefits programs to attract, retain, and motivate our talented workforce. As a vital member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our compensation and benefits offerings align with industry standards and support our overall business objectives. This is a hands-on, full-cycle role, and requires the processing of enrollments, ensuring enrollment integrity, and overall strategic plan management.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Benefits Management: - Oversee the administration and management of employee benefits programs, including Health & Wellness plans, Retirement plans, Wellness initiatives, and other related programs. - Lead and coordinate annual open enrollment. - Collaborate with benefits providers/brokers to negotiate contracts, ensure compliance, and optimize cost-effectiveness. - Monitor industry trends to enhance and innovate our benefits offerings continually.

2. Compensation Strategy: - Develop and execute a comprehensive compensation strategy that aligns with our company's goals and competitive market trends. - Analyze and evaluate current compensation structures to ensure they remain equitable and competitive. - Recommend and implement salary structures, pay bands, and incentive programs to attract and retain top talent.

3. Job Analysis and Evaluation: - Conduct job analysis to assess job roles, responsibilities, and requirements. - Develop and maintain job descriptions that reflect accurate job responsibilities and expectations. - Evaluate job positions to determine appropriate compensation levels and career progression paths.

4. Market Research and Benchmarking: - Stay updated on market trends, industry standards, and best practices related to compensation and benefits. - Conduct regular benchmarking exercises to ensure our offerings are competitive within our industry and region.

5. Compliance and Reporting: - Ensure compliance with legal regulations related to compensation and benefits, including FLSA, ADA, ERISA, and other relevant laws. - Prepare and submit required government reports and documentation as needed.

6. Communication and Education: - Communicate compensation and benefits programs to employees, providing clear and comprehensive information. - Conduct/coordinate training sessions and workshops to educate managers and employees on compensation and benefits-related topics.

7. Performance Management Integration: - Collaborate with the performance management team to align compensation with employee performance and contributions. - Ensure that compensation practices support a high-performance culture and motivate employees to excel.

Qualification Standards

Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. - Proven experience (At least 7 years) in compensation and benefits management, with a demonstrated track record of designing and implementing successful programs. - In-depth knowledge of compensation structures, benefits administration, job analysis, and evaluation methodologies. - Familiarity with HRIS systems and compensation software for data analysis and reporting. - Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Thorough understanding of relevant employment laws and regulations. - High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive employee information. - Strong project management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Education

Desired Qualifications: - Master's degree in business or a related field. - Professional certification(s). - Experience in higher education desired.
