This is a student worker position within the Bayh College of Education. Individuals in this position will work to achieve the mission, objectives, and vision of the college as they pertain to facilitating the functions of the Dean's Office.

Specific Responsibilities Work Schedule

M-F from 4-6 p.m. Work schedule will be determined by student availability and department needs.

NCAA Guidelines

All employees and staff of ISU are bound by all NCAA, Missouri Valley Conference and institutional rules and regulations pertaining to intercollegiate athletics and must conduct themselves in accordance therewith. Job Duties

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Check 15 classrooms and 5 basement rooms between 4-6 pm, M-F
  • Make sure all windows are closed
  • Raise the projection screen if needed
  • Refill the water bottle and clean white boards if needed
  • Straighten the tables and chairs
  • Pick up any pieces of paper or trash that are visible on the floor
  • Clean the table tops once per week
  • Turn out the lights and make sure the doors are locked
  • Report any damages or lights that are out to the Dean's office
  • Check 6 conference rooms once per week and clean table tops
