  • Position Summary:

    The Transportation & Power Division is recruiting qualified applicants for our adjunct pool for Automotive and Diesel technology instructors.

    Duties:

    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

    Candidates will be evaluated on suitability of their academic preparation, past teaching experience, and potential for providing high quality instruction to undergraduate students. Expertise and experience relevant to the effective teaching of the specialty.

    TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

    A minimum of 5 years documented industry experience in the area taught is required. Previous experience teaching at the secondary or post-secondary level in an automotive related program is preferred.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION OR TRAINING:

    Associates degree in Automotive/Diesel Technology or related field or an exceptional level of professional experience in a closely related field may be considered. A bachelor degree in Automotive/Diesel Technology or related field is preferred. Certification specific to the area(s) taught though Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is required.
