Position Summary Information
General Information
The Athletic Ticket Office Student Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the operations of the university's athletic ticketing services. This position is responsible for assisting with various tasks related to ticket sales, customer service, and game day needs within the athletic department. The student employee will contribute to ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for fans, donors, students, and guests attending university ticketed events.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service to patrons in person, on the phone, and via email. Process phone and window sales as well as game day event sales. End-of-day balancing of cash drawer, settlement, and reconciliation as they apply. Perform tasks in an efficient and timely manner. Stay informed and up-to-date on all policy, games, and events. Facilitate pass gate operations including player pass, complimentary admission, visiting team, will call, etc. as they apply. Assist with crowd control, ticket seller support, and general operation as needed. Must be available to work ticketed events, as needed.
Qualifications
High School degree Logical reasoning skills Experience working with customers Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Conditions of Employment
Students must be degree-seeking students, enrolled on at least a half-time basis (6 credits for undergraduate and 5 credits for graduate).
Students must have a 2.0 or better cumulative GPA.
