Position Title Athletic Compliance CoordinatorUIW Mission

Position Summary
The Athletic Compliance Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the administrative support functions relating to student-athlete eligibility, NCAA rules, application recruitment activities, and compliance with NCAA, conference, and University regulations. The Athletic Compliance Coordinator reports to the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance.
This position is considered a “Responsible Employee” under Title IX federal regulations and “Mandatory Reporter” under Texas state law and the UIW Sexual Misconduct Policy. As a Mandatory Reporter, this position requires you as the employee to promptly report any incident that you witness or receive information about Title IX violations. These reporting responsibilities are set out in the UIW Sexual Misconduct Policy.

Required Education
Bachelor's Degree.
Required Work Experience
One (1) year experience in an NCAA Division I athletic compliance setting at an institutional, conference, or national associate office.

Work Hours
8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends as necessary to meet departmental goals.
