We have an excellent opportunity for an Associate Tutor for the following module:

  • Environment and Policy - Level 7
  • 10x 1.5 hour seminar
  • Tuesday evening 7.30 – 9pm
  • You will have knowledge of global and local environmental problems and policy debates, and be qualified to the corresponding level of the award as required to teach (or demonstrate equivalent professional/industry level experience).

    Further to the person specification, essential requirements for this role are:

  • Relevant professional experience or research background connected to environmental issues (this might draw on any of a number of fields, e.g. environmental law, sustainable business, environmental economics, civic environmentalism, etc.)
  • Postgraduate teaching experience
  • Please refer to the person specification for further selection criteria.
  • Remuneration

    Payment is based on an hourly rate depending on length of continuous service with the College (starting rate £54.10 per hour inclusive of pro-rata London Allowance and holiday pay) for contact hours worked. This hourly rate is based on the starting point of Grade 6 and is inclusive of a ‘Duties Related to Teaching Multiplier' which covers preparation, teaching, administration, assessment marking and other examining duties in connection with the course.
