    • Rector of the University of Environmental and Life Sciences in Wrocław announces a competition for the position of associate professor in the group of research and teaching staff at the Institute of Agricultural Engineering

    Description of tasks in the position:

  • conducting scientific activity in the field of agricultural sciences, in the discipline of agriculture and horticulture;
  • improving professional competences through research internships and participation in conferences and training;
  • educating research staff and supervising their development;
  • preparing and conducting classes;
  • participation in organizational work for the Institute of Agricultural Engineering and the university;
  • other tasks resulting from the profile and nature of the unit.

    • Requirements for the candidate:

  • holds at least a doctoral degree in the field of agricultural or technical sciences;
  • has scientific achievements confirmed by publications in reputable journals in the field of agricultural engineering;
  • demonstrates knowledge of issues in the field of digital image analysis and applications of the artificial neural network;
  • has experience in teaching in the field of electrical engineering, occupational health and safety as well as ergonomics or logistics;
  • has knowledge of the English language (minimum B2 level) and fluent knowledge of the Polish language;
  • performs or has performed the function of a university coordinator or manages or managed a research project financed by a national or foreign research funding institution;
  • demonstrates significant scientific activity carried out in cooperation with more than one university or scientific institution, in particular with a foreign one;
  • completed at least a 6-month research internship at a foreign university or research institution or a post-doc internship in a research project financed from external funds;
  • has not been punished with a disciplinary penalty of expulsion from work at the University with a ban on working at universities for a period from 6 months to 5 years or deprivation of the right to practice as an academic teacher for a period of 10 years;
  • has full legal capacity;
  • enjoys full public rights
  • has not been convicted by a valid court judgment for an intentional crime or an intentional tax offense.

  • results achieved in the career so far: candidate's mobility, obtained grants, conducted research, innovative activities, openness to entrepreneurship and the practical aspect of scientific research;
  • diplomas confirming education;
  • a certificate confirming the knowledge of a foreign language, with an indication of the level - required at the stage of the recruitment interview.
