The Mario J. Gabelli School of Business at Roger Williams University, Bristol
RI, invites applications for a tenure-track position in accounting at the
associate or full professor level beginning spring 2022 or fall 2022. Programs
offered by the School include Bachelor of Science degrees in accounting,
economics, finance, international business, management and marketing as well
as a highly successful 4+1 MBA program. Responsibilities include teaching
financial, managerial and cost accounting as well as related courses such as
Governmental and Forensic Accounting and Tax. The individual hired will be
expected to provide excellence in teaching, advise students, and maintain a
high level of professional activity through quality research and service.
Candidates should have an established record of high quality, innovative
teaching and research, including publishing in appropriate, quality peer-
reviewed journals. Minimum educational requirements include a Ph.D. or D.B.A.
in accounting from an AACSB accredited institution. Licensure as a Certified
Public Accountant is preferred.
Successful teaching experience is required and online teaching experience is
highly preferred. Individual must be committed to teaching, research and
service, including individual student advising.

specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.

minimum and midpoint of the salary range.
