The ULM School of Visual and Performing Arts seeks a candidate with a background in providing visionary academic, administrative, and fiscal leadership. The Director is the chief executive officer and administrative head of the School of Visual and Performing Arts. The Director holds academic rank as a faculty member in the School and is charged with the administration, instructional leadership, and supervision of the operation of the School through its instructional programs, research, publications, and service activities.

The School of Visual and Performing Arts houses programs in Art, Dance, Music, and Theatre, including undergraduate degrees in Art, undergraduate and graduate degrees in Music, and the minor in Dance. Hosting hundreds of events on the ULM campus each year, the School of Visual and Performing Arts serves as the cultural hub for Northeast Louisiana and is the greatest source of performances desired for quality-of-life by residents of the region. The School of Visual and Performing Arts has Cooperative Endeavor Agreements with several arts organizations in North Louisiana, including the Monroe Symphony Orchestra, Strauss Theater, Twin Cities Ballet, and the Miss Louisiana's Outstanding Teen Scholarship Pageant. https: // ulm.edu/vapa/
