Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the
Supervise, teach, and mentor residents and students to the GI service
Conduct and publish peer reviewed clinical research
Minimum Hire Rate
salary commensurate with related education, experience and/or skills
Board certified in Internal Medicine.
Board certified in Gastroenterology.
Have a medical license in State of Texas or be eligible to obtain a
medical license in Texas.
Record of effectiveness as a teacher.
A record of peer-reviewed publications and presentations.
A record of academically related public service.
Excellent interpersonal and mentoring skills.
A record of administration and leadership.

Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual
selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as, the
institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the

Lectures and conferences in gastroenterology and internal medicine.
Outpatient/inpatient clinical practice to include the digestive diseases
center and inpatient gastroenterology and internal medicine rotations.
Some prison work is required.
