Position Type Faculty Work Hours/Week 40 Description of Work Unit
The Department of Finance and Real Estate is one of five departments in the College of Business. The Department has a strong record of research accomplishments and provides excellent research support, with subscriptions to most common databases. The Department offers a Master of Finance, and undergraduate concentrations in finance, financial planning, and real estate, and participates in the other programs of the College. The Department currently has 11 tenure-track and 7 non-tenure track faculty. The Department serves the more than 700 undergraduate students in finance, financial planning, and real estate.

The Department of Finance and Real Estate in the College of Business at Colorado State University invites applications for a nine-month tenure-track position in Finance. Rank is at the Associate or Full Professor level. Preference will be given to Full and senior Associate Professors. The department has needs for faculty in investments, financial management and international finance. The start date will be August 2023.
Conditions of Employment Pre-employment Criminal Background Check (required for new hires) Required Job Qualifications
Candidates must have: (1) a Ph.D. degree in finance or a closely related field; (2) Associate or Full Professor rank at current institution; (3) an established record of publication in the top finance journals commensurate with rank and experience; (4) demonstrated experience and/or interest to teach in areas of need.
Preferred Job Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with the following characteristics: (1) Full and senior Associate Professors at current institution; (2) potential for continued high quality research publishable in the top finance journals; (3) evidence of high quality instruction in finance.

Interviews will be scheduled at the FMA meetings in Atlanta, GA in October 2022. Application materials of finalist candidates will be made available for review by the entire faculty of the Department of Finance and Real Estate.
