Job Summary

The Department of Arts and Humanities of the UW-Milwaukee College of General Studies invites applications for one Teaching Academic Staff in Communications for Fall 2021. This is a fixed-term position with the possibility of renewal contingent on enrollments.

This position will teach CGS CTA 101 (Introduction to Interpersonal Communication); hold appropriate office hours; attend orientation activities; and perform required grading, assessment, and reporting tasks.

Courses are available at the Milwaukee campus teaching in the First Year Bridge Program.

In addition to the topics listed in the course catalogue, topics studied include: communication process, self-concept, culture, emotions, relational development, and communication climate.

  • Master's degree in Communications or a related discipline
