As Loyola University Chicago embarks on a comprehensive fundraising campaign, we seek an Associate Manager, Strategic Communications for Advancement, to plan and develop written solicitations and collateral communications aimed at securing and stewarding philanthropic gifts. The candidate will use strong, succinct, persuasive story-telling and strategic design to create compelling descriptions of funding opportunities, gift proposals, and stewardship reports, with arguments that resonate with both individual donors and broader audiences.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop information and write persuasive, compelling arguments, proposals, and other campaign materials to secure philanthropic support for university priorities in education, student support, research, clinical practice, and community engagement. The position calls for an assertive, confident self- starter curious about a variety of topics and eager to work with others to build an infrastructure for an ambitious fundraising campaign.
