Experienced and entry level points into teaching available Provide balanced and innovative police recruit level training and education Prepare job-ready graduates for careers in Policing and Law Enforcement Multiple positions are available for immediate commencement The Role Fixed Term (Until December 2025), Full Time Level A/B - AU$72,062 to AU$121,504 pa (plus 17% superannuation) Teaching focused only Located in Goulburn, NSW We are currently seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals in various areas of policing and law enforcement to teach and undertake subject development in the Associate Degree in Policing Practice. Utilising the resources of both a large residential police academy and a responsive and progressive university, the successful candidate (s) will be required to engage and teach students through face-to-face and online delivery modes whilst dedicating workload to professional Industry liaison, and maintaining sound relationships with industry agencies at the NSW Police Force Academy in Goulburn, NSW. Staff will be enrolled in the fee-free postgraduate course, the Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (GCLTHE). This formal award allows Charles Sturt academic staff the opportunity to undertake professional development for academic probation purposes, and to strengthen learning and teaching theory and practice, and embed Charles Sturt values, policies, systems and frameworks.
