We have an excellent opportunity for an Associate Lecturer(s) for the following modules:

  • Intellectual Property and Global Health (Level 7), 15 hours of teaching, Wednesdays 6pm, 9 January to 24 March 2023.
  • Trademarks and Digital Markets (Level 7), 7.5 hours of teaching, Thursdays 6pm, 9 January to 24 March 2023.
  • To be successful you will need:

  • a proven track record of demonstrating effective presentation skills and good oral and written communication skills
  • a good level of Information and Communication Technology skills particularly in application to standard packages (e.g. Microsoft Teams)
  • word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail and internet use) and virtual learning environments
  • Formal teaching experience
  • the ability to appreciate and react to the needs of individual students and their circumstance
  • Further to the person specification, essential requirements for this role are:

  • Specialist knowledge of Intellectual property

    Payment is based on an hourly rate depending on length of continuous service with the College (starting rate £63.55 per hour inclusive of pro-rata London Allowance and holiday pay) for contact hours worked. This hourly rate is based on the starting point of Grade 7 and is inclusive of a ‘Duties Related to Teaching Multiplier' which covers preparation, teaching, administration, assessment marking and other examining duties in connection with the course.
