  • Who we are looking for We seek a proven HR leader with strategic vision who can provide insightful counsel to the CEO, support the build of a high performing team and foster a thriving organizational culture. Collaboration is key as you'll partner with stakeholders across the University to leverage HR services from the University and work closely with the leadership team to establish a distinctive and highly engaged team. You'll excel at communication, have a track record in HR strategy and a roll-up-your sleeves attitude to establishing foundational building blocks such as EVP and capability development.

    You will also have:

  • Education: Relevant tertiary qualifications with demonstrated HR work experience in a complex, matrixed environment or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role focused on establishing a new business and setting up strategic talent and culture initiatives, with a focus on digital businesses or tech-driven environments. Experience navigating a large matrixed organisation and management of sensitive stakeholder relationships.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of employee lifecycle best practices and learning and development trends in the digital sector. Clear understanding of complex HR policy environments and Enterprise Agreement covered workforces.
  • Digitally Curious: Comfortable navigating a rapidly changing digital business environment, seeing opportunities to leverage digital platforms to build our EVP and capability, adjusting HR strategies accordingly.

    This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to- date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
