The Career Center provides comprehensive career services to all University of North Carolina at Pembroke undergraduate, graduate students, and alumni. The Career Center's goal is to provide high-quality career development programs that are customized to students' developmental and professional needs.
Primary Purpose of Position
The Associate Director for Experiential Learning will support the Career Center by developing and coordinating experiential learning initiatives that enhance student learning, leadership, and career development.
Job Description
The Associate Director for Experiential Learning will support the Career Center by developing and coordinating experiential learning initiatives that enhance student learning, leadership, and career development. This position reports to the Executive Director for Career Services and is a staff member in the Division of Student Affairs. This position will develop partnerships with on-campus stakeholders in all divisions to develop curriculum, events, activities, and applied learning experiences, specifically related to on- campus student employment and internships. This position will assess, measure, and evaluate student learning and development outcomes related to these major initiatives.

Management Preference
Knowledge of student development and experience in working directly in a higher education setting for at least three years. Earned Master's degree in Student Affairs or a closely related field preferred. Must be student-oriented and have a commitment to working in a team based, collaborative environment along with the ability to work with a culturally diverse student population.
