The Associate Dean works under the supervision of the Dean of Online, High School, and Community Learning and is responsible for working with the Dean in the development, implementation, supervision, and assessment of the division. The Associate Dean will collaborate with the Dean in the supervision of full and part time staff within the division.

Required knowledge and skills
A. Must be able to interact professionally and effectively with faculty, administrators, staff students and community. B. Must be able to use independent judgment. C. Must possess good communication and facilitation skills. D. Must possess good organizational and time management skills. E. Must have knowledge of budgeting and purchasing procedures. F. Must have knowledge of course, degree, program and site scheduling process and be able to effectively manage the schedule of the assigned areas of the division. G. Must have a general knowledge of high school graduation requirements and dual credit policy. H. Must possess word processing, spreadsheet, and database management computer skills. I. Must have experience in recruiting and building enrollment. J. Experience with compiling and using data to make informed decisions is preferred.
A. Teaching experience preferred, preferably at the community college level. B. Demonstrated success in an organizational leadership role; Administrative/management experience preferred.
Required educational background
