The Loyola University Chicago Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing (MNSON) seeks a dynamic, visionary leader to serve in the position of Associate Dean of Innovative Partnerships and Faculty Practice. This is a new leadership position within the MNSON, which brings exceptional opportunities for providing strategic vision and leadership for faculty practice and community and academic practice partnerships at the local, regional, state, national, and global levels. This is a faculty position that includes teaching, scholarship, and service.

The Associate Dean of Innovative Partnerships and Faculty Practice is responsible for the following areas:

Mission: Supports the mission of the MNSON and leads development and implementation of vision and strategy for mission-congruent initiatives related to partnerships and faculty practice; contributes to the MNSON and University goals for inclusive excellence and antiracism.

Strategy and Oversight: Provides strategic direction, operational oversight and guidance for faculty practice, community and academic-practice partnerships, and global initiatives.

Communities of Interest: Establishes and fosters interprofessional practice relationships internally and externally; collaborates with communities of interest to advance MNSON practice and community engagement initiatives.

Practice Initiatives: Develops faculty practice opportunities and programming with new and established community and clinical partners; creates synergistic research, practice scholarship, and educational initiatives.

Collaboration and Mentoring: Collaborates with Chairs and Associate Chairs in facilitating and mentoring the development of clinical scholarship; facilitates scholarly dissemination of MNSON faculty practice initiatives.

Funding: Facilitates attainment and management of funding to support faculty practice and community partnership initiatives.

Candidates for the Associate Dean of Innovative Partnerships and Faculty Practice will possess:

•Eligibility for licensure as a Registered Nurse in Illinois •Eligibility for appointment to the rank of Associate Professor or higher •A record of interprofessional collaboration and scholarship •Experience in developing faculty practice initiatives •A record of practice scholarship
