The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth ( HSC) is one of the nation's distinguished graduate academic health science centers, dedicated to education, research, clinical care and community engagement.
We are excited to announce the formation of its College of Nursing. The new college will help address the shortage of nurses in Texas, which has the second-fewest nurses per capita in the U.S. Learn more about the college's launch. The new College of Nursing will join five other colleges and schools offering degree programs at HSC: the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, School of Biomedical Sciences, School of Public Health, School of Health Professions and College of Pharmacy.

Position Summary
The University of North Texas Health Science Center ( HSC) College of Nursing is seeking applications for the Associate Dean and Chair for Undergraduate Education.
This position will report to the Dean, College of Nursing and is responsible for:

Creating academic-clinical partnerships with regional health systems to ensure high-quality clinical education.

Leading faculty recruitment and development efforts, including hiring and evaluating faculty, mentoring and coaching faculty, and facilitating faculty development opportunities.

Developing and implementing policies and procedures that ensure the quality of undergraduate programs and the academic success of students.

Working with faculty to develop and assess student learning outcomes, ensuring student success and positive educational outcomes.

Overseeing the development, evaluation, and revision of the undergraduate program's curriculum, ensuring that it meets national accreditation standards and is aligned with current nursing practices and trends.

Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including local healthcare facilities, community organizations, and professional nursing organizations.
