Offer DescriptionWe are looking for a candidate for the assistant professor position in the research and teaching staff group at the Faculty of Architecture in the Department of Urban Architecture and Waterscapes.
TASKS/ ROLE The candidate will work as an assistant professor position (research, teaching and organisation) in the Department of Urban Architecture and Waterscapes at the Faculty of Architecture of the Gdańsk University of Technology. The main tasks of this position will include: - conducting research, including participation in ongoing projects at the department - to apply for other research projects - publishing in high quality journals - teaching students
REQUIREMENTS - professional title MSc. Architect and PhD in architecture and urbanism - previous research carried out in the scope defined by the keywords (architecture, sustainable urban development, outdoor illuminations, impact of artificial light, urban lighting masterplans, outdoor light pollution, light and health, light and environment, biophilic design) - fluent knowledge of English and Polish languages (min. level C1), spoken and written - list of publications in journals with high scientific quality (min. 100 points in MEiN scoring) - obtaining national and international research grants - international research cooperation with research institutions in Europe and around the world
