A person applying for this position must meet the requirements set out in Art. 113 of the Act of July 20, 2018 Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2018, pos. 1668, as amended), in the Statute of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW Section VIII)

The candidate is expected to meet the following conditions:

· The candidate should have a higher education diploma and a master's degree in engineering in the discipline of food technology and human nutrition,

· experience in conducting scientific work in the field of food technology/food engineering, documented by appropriate scientific achievements, including at least 4 publications with the IF impact index,

· experience in research on the design and technological development of products using drying techniques, with particular emphasis on innovations in preliminary operations and composition reformulation, as well as analyzes of physical and chemical properties in the aspect of designing food products with repeatable quality, nutritional and functional characteristics.

· the ability to operate technological and analytical equipment - in the field of determining the physical and chemical properties of food,

· documented participation in national and international scientific conferences in the form of presented oral reports and posters,

· experience in conducting teaching classes at a university in Polish in the field of specialized subjects in the field of food engineering, ecology and environmental protection, management of raw materials, products and waste in accordance with the principles of sustainable development,

· very good knowledge of English, enabling him to independently write scientific publications in this language, present reports at scientific conferences, conduct classes in English and conduct research in foreign scientific units

Appreciated:

· computer skills, including MS Office and statistical programs,

· active in the field of academic life,

· experience in projects of science popularizing (activities in scientific organizations, the organization of science festivals an other events popularizing science).

· nice to have international scientific intership

Responsibilities:

• conducting scientific activities,

• conducting teaching classes,

• participating in organizational work for the University,

• increasing professional competences

The language of teaching is Polish and English.
