Applicants are required to meet the general requirements pursuant to the Law Act (Official Gazette no. 93/14, 127/17, 98/19, 151/22 and 64/23), Article 39, paragraph 6 of the Act on Scientific Activity and Higher Education (Official Gazette no. 119/22) and the requirements pursuant to Article 41 of Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek Regulations on Election in the Scientific, Scientific-Educational, Artistic-Educational, Educational, Associate and Professional Titles and Corresponding Employment Positions available on the Faculty's website https: // www. ferit.unios.hr.

The vacancy is open to male and female participants. Incomplete and late applications will not be taken into consideration. A complete application is the one containing all information and appendices and is personally signed by the applicant.
All relevant documents are to be sent in two (2) copies.
Applicants who meet the formal requirements must take part in a written test and/or an interview. Applicants will be informed about the content, method and the place and time of the written test and/or interview via the Faculty's website www. ferit.unios.hr. Applicants who do not take the written test and/or the interview will no longer be considered as applicants.
Applicants who are foreign nationals have to submit a Croatian language certificate in line with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (C2 level).
Applicants who, on the basis of special regulations - the Act on Croatian Veterans of the Homeland War and their Family Members ("Official Gazette" No. 121/17, 98/19 and 84/21), Article 48 of the Act on Civilian Victims of the Homeland War ("Official Gazette" No. 84/21), Article 48.f of the Act on the Protection of Military and Civilian War Invalids (Official Gazette No. 33/92, 57/92, 77/92, 27/93, 58/93, 2/94, 76/ 94, 108/95, 108/96, 82/01, 103/03, 148/13 and 98/19), Article 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities ("Official Gazette" No. 157/13, 152/14, 39/18 and 32/20), wish to exercise their right to priority in employment, must highlight their wish to invoke that right at the tender and attach all the evidence. The above-mentioned applicants can exercise their right only under equal conditions.
If an applicant has the right of a hiring privilege, one needs to specify that in the job application. Applicants wanting to exercises the hiring privilege pursuant to a special law are required to send required documents proving the hiring privilege, a confirmation issued by the Croatian Employment Service at the time of vacancy announcement proving that an applicant is an unemployed person and a proof of terminating the last job's contract. The hiring privilege can be exercised only if applicants meet the same requirements. Applicants wishing to exercise their right of priority in employment, pursuant to Article 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities ("Official Gazette" No. 157/13, 152/14, 39/18 and 32/20) are obliged to invoke this right and attach all evidence of meeting the required requirements, as well as proof of disability.
