DESCRIPTION (scope, requirements, general remarks):

The purpose of this competition is to fill the position of Teaching Assistant in the Institute of Health Sciences, Department of Rehabilitation and Biological Regeneration

full time employment: 360 hours per academic year

contract for specified period in Pomeranian University (Akademia Pomorska) as primary employment

Post requirements: holding classes with students - specialized courses in: kinesiotherapy, functional movement training and movement teaching methodology, clinical physiotherapy in movement system impairment in neurology and neurosurgery, in-home rehabilitation for seniors, functional diagnosis in internal organs diseases, practical skills exercises, simulation exercises, clinical exercises for Physiotherapy students. Promoting the University and the Institute of Health Sciences among the local community.

Requisite qualifications: The candidate shall have a professional experience in physiotherapy and in realization of learning: fascial manipulation on disability in musculoskeletal condition Fascial Distortion Model (FDM), The Dry Needling, treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders, palpation anatomy, modern standards of orthopedic rehabilitation (knee-joint and ankle joint), diagnosis and treatment of adult patients with chewing organ disfunctions, OMT Kaltenborn-Evjenth Concept, in-home kinesiotherapy for mechanically ventilated patients. The candidate shall have a certificate of practice for the physiotherapy profession. The candidate shall have knowledge of didactic approach in an institution of higher education.
