Candidate should have completed higher education in telecommunications and/or electronics and/or teleinformatics (ICT) science. He/she should be familiar with following issues: electromagnetic compatibility, electromagnetic safety and security, metrology in the field of electrical and radiocommunication measurements. Candidate should have knowledge about life cycle of the electronics devices/products – from design to tests and certification, especially in the area of EMC and RoHS directives.

The candidate should be a creative person who is keen on teaching and scientific work. This person should be also involved in the activities, work and projects of the Department, including supporting the achievement of the required indicators in these projects (including EMC-LabNet), and actively apply for new grants and teaching and research projects.

Skills/Qualifications

The candidate should satisfy the requirements as follows:

• Master of Science degree (or equivalent) in telecommunications/ ICT / electronic,

• Confirmed experience in PCBs design process,

• proven experience in life cycle of the product – from design to tests (taking in to account requirements according EMC, LVD and RoHS requirements).

The candidate can be considered for the post only if he/she agrees that Wroclaw University of Science and Technology will be his/her principal place of employment.
