About This Opportunity
Join the Talent Acquisition team at the University of Queensland as an Administration Assistant! This is an excellent opportunity to play a critical role in delivering a high-quality recruitment experience for the University's candidates. This position would suit an individual who has demonstrated experience working in administrative based roles and a passion for customer service. You won't require prior experience working in a Talent Acquisition function, we will teach you the technical recruitment skills.
As part of the team, you will be working closely with 2-3 Talent Acquisition Advisors to provide administrative support and coordination throughout the recruitment process. Key responsibilities include arranging selection committees, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and drafting offer letters. You will also contribute to sourcing positions on relevant job boards and social media platforms.
This role offers the chance to develop your skills in a high-volume Talent Acquisition environment, updating and maintaining data within the Recruitment Management System, and ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures.
By building strong relationships and fostering effective communication within Talent Acquisition team and with candidates, you will play an important role in the success of the team. This position is an excellent development opportunity for those interested in pursuing a career in Talent Acquisition or HR and operates in a supportive team environment.

About You
Demonstrated administrative experience developed in a high volume and busy customer-focused role – HR experience is not essential
Strong organisational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing demands without compromising standards of service or quality.
Outstanding attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both written and verbal forms, and a strong commitment to exceptional client service.
What We Can Offer
This is a full-time, fixed-term position through 31 December 2023 at HEW level 4.
The full-time equivalent base salary will be in the will be in the range of $68,735.35 - $72,968.15 per annum. This includes superannuation of up to 17%, which brings the total full-time equivalent package to a range of $80,460.07 - $85,372.73 per annum.
