The IU School of Medicine (IUSM) Department of Anatomy, Cell Biology & Physiology has an opening for a faculty at the Assistant Scientist level for a talented and ambitious individual to work on managing projects, developing novel techniques, presenting findings at conferences, writing manuscripts, and contributing to grant application preparation, where training/mentoring/active collaboration for these responsibilities is designed to advance scientific and career growth. The main research focus in the laboratory is to investigate the roles of beta-adrenergic receptor/beta- arrestin-responsive microRNAs and long noncoding RNAs in beneficial cardiac remodeling against heart diseases.
