Applications are invited for appointment as Assistant Research Officer in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 528692) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Biological Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Biostatistics or a related discipline, with at least 6 years of laboratory research experience in gynaecological oncology. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and experiences in molecular oncology, cancer immunology, bioinformatics, and technical expertise in animal model studies and tumor organoid culture will be considered significant advantages. They should also be organized, responsible, self-motivated, and capable of working independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
The appointee will be involved in clinical trials and laboratory projects. Responsibilities will include assisting in research project management, scientific publication preparation, grant report monitoring and preparation, data analysis, general administrative and operational support, as well as liaising and coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders.
