Applications are invited for appointment as Assistant Registrar (holding the functional title of Head of Talent Acquisition and Organizational Development) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 523344), to commence as soon as possible on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a good university degree with at least 10 years' talent acquisition, organizational development or related experience at supervisory level in the higher education or public/quasi-public sectors. Regional and international experience in full recruitment cycle and branding strategies, and a track record of formulating and implementing organizational learning and development initiatives in higher education, healthcare or related industries are preferred. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; excellent interpersonal, organizational and time-management skills; strategic and operational awareness from a human capital perspective; and a strong sense of responsibility. They should be capable of working independently with flexibility.
The appointee will oversee professoriate and key personnel talent acquisition and organizational development of the LKS Faculty of Medicine. He/She will work closely with senior management and hiring departments to identify manpower and organizational planning and development needs; formulate recruitment and development strategies to achieve the planned targets; drive recruitment, publicity, marketing and organizational learning programmes; manage websites and social media channels; provide metrics on talent acquisition and organizational development performance; support special human capital projects; and perform ad-hoc duties as assigned. Regional and international travel may be required occasionally. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and written test. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary. Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
