is to be filled. The position is initially limited to six years.
We are looking for a personality at the interface between architecture and science who has a proven track record in building technology and who researches methods for integrating building technology into the design process and teaches them.
Sustainable buildings are networked technological systems. Research will focus on the holistic consideration of building technology and building services from design and planning, through construction, to the low-resource operation of buildings. The knowledge gained from this will be incorporated into the designs and development of innovative planning processes that understand building technology as an intelligent, self-learning and self-regulating system. In this way, innovative possibilities will be explored to design buildings and the building stock in a future-proof and sustainable way under the aspects of architectural quality.
We are looking for an internationally outstanding scientist early career stage with promising potential for independent design competence. A degree in architecture or engineering and an outstanding doctorate are required. If applicable, a non-doctoral degree may be demonstrated by doctoral-appropriate achievements (outstanding work with technological innovation and scientific content).
