Responsibilities:

  • Conducting classes in the field of psychology at the Faculty of Psychology in Katowice;
  • Conducting research activities aimed at building scientific achievements.
  • Supporting university marketing activities, building relationships with the social environment;
  • Actively engaging in the faculty's and university's activities.

    Skills/Qualifications

    Requirements :

  • A PhD in of in the field of social sciences in the discipline of psychology (obtained no later than March 1, 2024);
  • At least one-year teaching experience in a higher education institution;
  • Research interests in the field of clinical and health psychology or personality psychology or psychology of emotions and motivation;
  • Scientific achievements documented by scoring publications in the field of psychology, active participation in scientific conferences and participation in research projects implementation;
  • Availability to conduct classes also on weekends;
  • Very good command of the English language and the Polish language, enabling the conduct of classes;
  • Very good computer skills and readiness to learn new applications;
  • Declaration of employment at SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities as the primary workplace.

  • Eligibility criteria

    Formal criteria:

  • Scientific achievements - 20% of the assessment;
  • Teaching achievements - 50% of the assessment;
  • Organisational and practical achievements - 30% of the assessment.
