Job Description

The program is seeking candidates to fill a full-time tenure track position to begin August 17, 2022 at the rank of Assistant Professor in Cyber Forensics and Security. The successful candidate must be able to teach a broad range of core and elective digital forensics and cyber security related courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. These courses include Intro to Linux, Intro to Digital Forensics, and Malware Forensics. Experience with Magnet Axiom and Kali Linux is preferred.

The department also seeks candidates who will contribute to the University's general education curriculum and its emphasis on using high-impact teaching practices, particularly those affiliated with one (or more) of the institution's pedagogical initiatives (e.g., Community-based Learning, Critical Thinking, First Year Seminar, Writing Across Curriculum, etc.). Additionally, the ideal candidate will contribute to the College's support of interdisciplinary programs of study.

Required Qualifications

PhD or MS degree in digital forensics, cyber security or closely related discipline is required. Must be able to perform all essential job duties as outlined in the job description.
