Emporia State University's AACSB accredited School of Business in Emporia,
Kansas, is accepting applications for a non-tenure-track faculty position in
Economics. The position begins in August 2022, at the rank of assistant
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
This position will teach in our MBA-Global program, offered in partnership
with Tsinghua University, China. The teaching is predominantly online with
periodic on-the-ground weekend sessions in Beijing. The successful candidate
will teach Managerial Economics and Quantitative Methods. Courses are taught
in Mandarin, so the position requires fluency in both English and Mandarin.
Travel to China is required three times per year.
Preference will be given to earned Ph.D. or ABD candidates in Economics.
Candidates with terminal qualifications in related disciplines may also be
considered. Relevant teaching and/or industry experience in economics is a
