The Department of Computing Science
(https:// www. tru.ca/science/programs/compsci.html) invites applications for a
tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor.
The candidate should be able to teach a wide variety of undergraduate courses,
and supervise student research and projects. In addition, the candidate must
provide evidence of potential for an independent research program and the
potential of excellence in scholarship.
Applicants should submit a CV including a list of publications, statement of
research, a teaching dossier or similar record of teaching experience, copies
of transcripts, and names of at least three references.
Subject to final budgetary approval.
A PhD in Computing Science or closely related area is required.
Ability to teach undergraduate students is required.
Prior university-level teaching experience in Computing Science and
potential for excellence in teaching.
Potential for an independent research program is required.
Potential for excellence in scholarship.
Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.
