The Department of Theology and Religious Studies at Villanova University
invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position at the rank of
assistant professor, to begin in fall 2022. We seek a colleague in the field
of Fundamental/Systematic Theology who works in the Catholic tradition and
specializes in the areas of Ecclesiology and Theology of Ministry. Successful
applicants are expected to approach these areas from one or more of the
following perspectives: Asian/Asian-American Theology, Black Theology,
Feminist Theology, Womanist Theology.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include teaching core and elective courses in our
undergraduate and graduate curricula as well as performing service to the

Our new colleague must hold a doctorate by the start of the appointment and

including student mentorship.
