About This Role:

The Department of Theatre & Dance at Lamar University is a cohesive and dynamic program in which the faculty and staff provide personalized instruction and mentorship for student growth. Appointment: Duties will begin Fall 2022.

What You'll Do – Position Duties

As a member of our team, you will have an impact on our clients through accomplishment of the following responsibilities:

Teaching a variety of courses in a 4/4 load in performance including acting and directing at various levels, as well as theatre appreciation and production class, including box office, front of house supervision and publicity (as part of teaching load); directing 1-2 productions per academic year in the department's main stage season. Provide service to the university, college, and department such as: recruitment, outreach, and committee work.
