The Management Department is an international hub for high-end research in strategy and organization. Strategic Management at the Frankfurt School
- emphasizes research on resource allocation, the appraisal of competition, and implementation of strategy, both at the
business and corporate level.
- integrates organization design research to develop decision processes as well as processes of learning and innovation that serve to identify, realize, and adapt business strategies.
Our research, teaching, and engagement with business leaders draws on multiple disciplines – such as strategic management, organization design/theory, organization behavior, entrepreneurship, and data & decision sciences – to develop cutting edge design thinking and rewarding strategies. Recent publications appear in outlets such as Academy of Management Journal, Administrative Science Quarterly, Strategic Management Journal, and Organization Science.
