  • Take a leadership role in the ongoing development, evaluation, and improvement of the School Psychology Program;
  • Contribute to initiatives and activities in the department and college;
  • Provide leadership in service and outreach to the university, school districts/other agencies, and profession of school psychology;

    The University of Alabama College of Education Department of Educational Studies in Psychology, Research Methodology and Counseling Position: Assistant Professor of School Psychology (Tenure Track).

    The Department of Educational Studies in Psychology, Research Methodology, and Counseling at the University of Alabama invites applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning August 2022. Minimum qualifications include (1) a doctoral degree from an APA and/or NASP accredited school psychology program, and (2) eligibility for certification as a school psychologist and/or licensure as a psychologist in Alabama, as well as a commitment to obtain these state credentials if hired. Candidates should have evidence of, or the potential, to develop a comprehensive and sustained agenda of research, scholarship, and grants in school psychology. Candidates also should have a strong commitment to diversity, social justice, and culturally responsive practices.
