business, humanities, social sciences and the sciences, as well as in

dental, optometry, chiropractic and health professions, as well as visual arts
therapy and law, with colleges and institutions in New Jersey and New York.
Undergraduate students may choose to concentrate their studies in one of five
schools with over 500 course offerings and more than 40 academic programs.

Ramapo College of New Jersey invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant
Professor position in Psychology. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Psychology
with a focus in Health Psychology (i.e., the study of psychological,
biological, social, and cultural processes and influences in health, illness,
and health care) or related field. The appointment will begin September 1,

and scholarly achievements, and a commitment to service to the institution
The successful candidate will be expected to teach (6) courses per
academic year across the Psychology curriculum, with an interest in
teaching Health Psychology, Introduction to Psychology, Research Methods,
Data Analysis, and courses in the applicant's area of expertise. See

Preferences for candidates with the potential to develop an ongoing
program of research into which undergraduate students can be integrated.
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Psychology with a focus in Health
Psychology or related field by the appointment start date of September 1,
