This is a non-tenure track, full-time appointment of which at least 80% is dedicated to consistent teaching in Design Thinking and Design Making within the d.ONE core curriculum which also includes Design History, Design Drawing, and Computer Applications.

Along with teaching, this position will be the primary coordinator for Design Thinking and Design Making. Coordination responsibilities may include onboarding new instructors, developing syllabi and assignments, holding regular meetings with the d.ONE teaching team, and communicating with the 2nd- year studio faculty. This position will closely correspond with the d.ONE core team and instructors to ensure appropriate breadth, depth, and consistency in the courses.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Terminal degree in a design-related field or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong design work evidenced through a portfolio.

Experience teaching and/or working in a design-related field.

Familiarity with digital and analogue workflows of design.

Coordination, management, and/or leadership skills.
